Dynamic (A Science Fiction Novel by Danielle Ravenwing)

Jason Davis embarks on an epic quest to investigate the strange events that occurred on the day of his mother's mysterious disappearance. He encounters three malevolent beings who call themselves the Creators who transport him into the future. With the help of a senile scientist and a beautiful young woman Jason builds a machine to follow the Creators through a series of alternate realities and different time periods hoping to find answers and put an end to their interdimensional reign of terror.

Dynamic is a Novel I wrote at the age of 17 when I was struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts aggravated by the social anxiety I experienced due to being born non-binary in a gender binary world.

The story is a combination of symbolism based on events in my life and a desire to escape my reality.

I'm severely dyslexic and could barely read when I started writing this book. By the time is finished writing it, just before my 19th birthday I had read many great novels including the Grapes of Wrath. My desire to write helped me learn how to overcome my disability and learn how to read.

Spending each day writing in a stream of consciousness style of writing helped me to express my feelings into a constructive work rather than the self-destructive path depression can easily lead one down.

I admit, this book is not the greatest literary work to come from a 17 year old human being, but writing it saved my life. It means a lot to me, and those that have read the entire book really enjoyed it.

Please feel free to read this novel free of charge by clicking on the link above. Also, please feel free to make comments or editorial notes as you read. I am planning on doing some more editing and publishing a revised edition eventually.
